NEPHROLOGY

 

DEPARTMENT OF NEPHROLOGY

 

 

Nephrology department is rendering services in the fields of Clinical Nephrology, active kidney transplant program, CAPD patient care, interventional Nephrology and Hemodialysis. Department has 27 bedded Hemodialysis facility at MDM Hospital and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease patients hailing from vast geographic area of western Rajasthan. Separate dialysis facility for Hepatitis -C, Hepatitis-B sero positive and HIV positive renal failure patients is available. Separate 22 bedded nephrology ward is functional for indoor admissions, at MDM hospital super-specialty wing, third floor. Facilities under interventional domain include kidney biopsy, plasmapharesis, perm-cath insertion, hemodialysis catheter insertion, and CAPD catheter insertion.
