Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology
Infrastructure of main building consists of day care facility – Room no 47, on fourth floor, Dhanvantari OPD and ICU facilities in Speciality ICU on first floor catering to critical care of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology patients and other super specialities.
The outdoor runs on first floor (Room no 26) at Dhanvantari outdoor building.
Male and female wards have been allotted. A specialty ICU with bed strength of 12 patients catering to critical care of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology patients and after super-specialities.
There is 1 functional unit and runs clinical and research oriented OPDs six times a week.
Lab infrastructure with support of microbiology and pathology dept includes state-of-the-art investigations including ANA by IFA, ANCA by IFA, ANA blot( Immune 17/ENA), Lupus anticoagulant, dsDNA, IF and IHC based tissue diagnosis, IgE level and many more.
Procedures like intra-articular injections, synovial fluid analyses, Nail fold capillaroscopy, renal biopsy, muscle biopsy, salivary gland biopsy, nerve biopsy, USG guided diagnostic and interventional studies with focus on musculoskeletal system are being done in the dept.
