2. About Dr. Rajeev Bagarhatta and Publications
Faculty member of SMS Medical College and Hospital (Jaipur), Dr. Rajeev Bagarhatta is a Professor of Cardiology engaged in training medical students pursuing post doctoral course for over a decade.
In addition to MBBS, Dr. Bagarhatta’s educational qualifications comprise of MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) degrees acquired from reputed medical institutions like SMS Medical College and PGIMER, Chandigarh respectively. Overseas Fellowship programs undertaken in Interventional Cardiology (Electrophysiology), Peripheral Angioplasty and Intraventional Cardiology further strengthened his medical expertise. Previously, he served as an Assistant Consultant at Batra Cardiac Care Centre, New Delhi where he was primarily involved in Coronary and Peripheral Angioplasties besides Radio Frequency Ablation. Later, he accepted an academic position at SMS Medical College and Hospital where he presently serves.
He has broad experience in Coronary, Peripheral and Carotid Angioplasty, Balloon Valvuloplasties, Device Closures, Device Implantation for Arrhythmia, as well as Pacemaker, AICD and CRT-D Implantations.
